Cocreations Construction & Design was created by Nick Syros who believes that we are all ultimately creators of our own life experience. He has found that in his career in the service industry of over 25 years that to truly provide exceptional service one must have reached self-mastery at some degree. The byproduct is a master in his craft, and he believes that takes much more than just getting the physical work done. He also believes that we are not just a construction company but first and foremost a “service” provider and breathes into the company regularly how important it is to show our clients that we are grateful for the opportunity to serve them and exceed their expectations of a job well done.
Originally born in Portugal, Ana met Nick and married in August of 2012 and soon after started of family. She is proud mother of 2-boys whose energy levels are boundless. She has spent most of her working career in the Fashion industry, working the last 12yrs of her career for one of the leading Italian fashion houses. She managed over 65 retail locations around the world primarily in US, CA & Asian, of which she travel to and conducted corporate product trainings.
In 2019, she decided to step down from her corporate career and team up with Nick in the family business. Her strengths are client relations/customer service and expressing herself through her keen sense of design with the help of her clients. She has most recently moved into a more administrative role of the business and is enjoying new challenges
I started my love for construction at 15 yrs old when I was given the opportunity to go to a Vocational School for Building trades. Following I have had the pleasure of working on on historic homes and buildings in up state New York, Mid century and historic buildings in Tennessee and Mississippi, to high rise buildings and modern energy efficient homes in Austin, Texas. Here in North Carolina, since 2021 I have had the pleasure of taking all of these past construction experiences and applied them to building and renovating our communities homes here in the Triangle.
Brittany grew up in central North Carolina, where her love for homes and craftsmanship began at an early age watching This Old House with her family. Those moments sparked a lifelong appreciation for creating beautiful, functional spaces.
With over a decade of experience in office administration, Brittany brings exceptional organization, communication, and problem-solving skills to her role. She enjoys the dynamic environment of an office setting and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Always proactive, she looks for ways to support her team and improve daily processes. As a mother of three energetic boys, she’s mastered the art of multitasking and maintaining focus — skills that serve her well in the fast-paced world of home remodeling.
After spending her adolescence remodeling and transforming anything her parents would let her, Lisa studied Interior Design with the London Guildhall University. Being in the industry for more than 20 years, Lisa loves the challenge of finding just the right design for her clients. She loves her work because she gets to help people create a unique sense of home – something designed just for them.
Emily is an experienced licensed architect with a strong background in residential design. She is passionate about easing the process for clients and leaving them with a home they love. Emily carefully listens and collaborates with clients to respond to their desires for their home, and works closely with our construction team to ensure that every project is as seamlessly executed as it is thoughtfully designed.

With over 20 years of experience in residential construction, Marc brings a steady, hands-on approach to managing luxury custom home projects. His background spans both production and custom building, giving him the experience to keep projects organized, moving forward, and built to the highest standard. He is known for being practical, dependable, and solutions-focused, with a strong understanding of what it takes to manage the details of a project from start to finish.
He takes pride in doing things the right way and believes that clear communication and trust are just as important as the work itself. Known for his straightforward style and calm approach under pressure, he is someone clients and trade partners can rely on throughout the building process. Outside of work, he enjoys working on projects around the house, grilling/smoking meats and exploring new places with family and friends.
Dave has been in the construction industry since 1995 and transitioned into management in 2007. Building homes is a true passion of his, and he feels fortunate to do what he loves every day. Throughout his career, Dave has received various awards, with being named Project Manager of the Year serving as a particularly proud milestone. He is also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army Infantry.
Dave has been married to his wife, Kelly, for 21 years, and they have a daughter, Ella. Outside of work, he stays active in his community as a volunteer middle school and competitive girls’ fastpitch coach. He also enjoys spending his free time fly fishing and golfing.
Mike has been in construction for 16 years, stemming from his time with the Navy Seabees. He specializes in managing the projects in the field from the ground up, keeping them on schedule and within budget, while maintaining strong client relationships. He takes pride in being able to transform a design into a finished product.
Emma studied Interior Design at High Point University and started working in the field while pursuing her Master’s in Business Communication & Leadership. Emma has a deep passion for historic homes and edgy colorful interiors, along with the structural elements of Interior Design. She strives for excellence in all aspects of her work and believes in cultivating strong client relationships, ensuring that the clients’ voice is always heard and respected. Emma works closely with Lead Cabinet Designer Lisa to ensure each design project addresses clients’ needs and provides a solution while still creating a space that shines aesthetically.
Emma is an huge Carolina Hurricanes fan and animal lover; she currently has a Bengal cat named Embry, after the Twilight movie franchise. She is a lover of Indie Rock and Pop music and is an avid reader.
